There are a few options when it comes to finding the right pet sitter for you, and the two most popular ways would be the user-friendly apps called Wag! and Rover. Rover lets you create a profile for both you and your pet, predominantly dogs and cats, and finds people who are willing to help within your area. This app offers extremely affordable rates for pet care, usually between $20 to $25 a day for an entire day of watching them. There are also drop-in visits, which can range between $10 and $15 depending on the duration of their visit, in which you let the sitter have temporary access to your residence and ask them to watch the pet for 30 minutes to an hour.

As an alternative, Wag! is a similar business but usually focuses on dog walking as opposed to overnight stays. Overnight stays are offered on this app as well, but prices are more likely to vary than on Rover. You can request a 20-minute walk, 30-minute or even 60-minute walk with a pay-as-you-go approach, each with slight increases in cost.
