This week, Houston has many events going on. As we see Houston Restaurant Weeks wind down, we also see the NFL kick into full gear. September is quickly coming to a close, leading to new and fun events for people in the Houston area. Beetlejuice – If you love the movie Beetlejuice and want to get in a spooky mood for October, watch the movie screening at City Acre Crewing Co. on Friday, October 2nd.

Sports Events in Houston

football houston eventFootball – Watch the Houston Texans take on the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, October 4th. Fans are still not allowed in the stadium, even though the game is being played in Houston. Watch via online or view on CBS.

Soccer – Both the Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash will be playing games this upcoming weekend. For these teams playing at the BBVA Stadium, a limited number of fans are allowed to join in on the fun. Other Events in Houston

Plantchella – Do you have a love of plants and want to share it with others? Come to Plantchella HTX on Saturday, October 3rd. This event is located at Axelrad in Midtown and costs $20 to enter. You will have the experience of being able to swap plants with other plant enthusiasts.

Houston Restaurant Weeks – This event is coming to a close this week on September 30th. Take a look at our blog about this event to get more information. Do not miss an opportunity to help the Houston Food Bank.

BLCK Market – Support black owned businesses, vendors, and more by shopping their merchandise at the Buffalo Soldier National Museum from 6PM to 10PM on Friday, October 2nd. There is no cover charge, so take the opportunity to look around and shop the BLCK Market.

B-52 Fest – B-52 Brewing Company in Conroe is hosting Oktoberfest on Saturday, October 3rd. Get in for free and get a look at the vendors, food trucks, and beer releases.
