Houston Arboretum & Nature Center

Looking to celebrate Earth in a free, fun way? The Houston Arboretum & Nature center has you covered with a FREE Earth Day celebration April 17th from 8 am-2 pm. Enjoy family friendly informative booths, nature hikes and more. Located in the heart of Memorial, feel connected with the great outdoors without having to leave Houston city limits!

Earth Day at Discovery Green

Located in Downtown Houston, Discover Green is your one-stop destination to celebrate Earth Day with a picturesque view of both nature and the Downtown landscape. Discovery Green celebrates Earth Day in a variety of ways, from a Urban Harvest Farmers Market to environmental-themed murals created by local Houston artists, there’s something for everyone to enjoy from 12 pm- 5 pm on Sunday, April 18th.

Party for the Planet- Earth Day Celebration at the Downtown Aquarium

Ready to dive into what makes Earth so great? Join the Downtown Aquarium as they celebrate Earth Day on Thursday, April 22nd from 10 am- 4 pm. Activities include fish feedings, scavenger hunt, conservation tours and much more! All Earth Day activities are included in the price of your ticket.

Looking for more of an indoor celebration? Look no further than the Houston Museum of Natural Science as they celebrate with special activities, tours and activities all April long as they raise awareness about issues impacting our Earth and what we can do to help. Evelyns Park Conservancy

Celebrate Earth Day more than just one day a year with your very own seedling! Evelyns Park Conservancy and Trees for Houston will distribute 500 tree seedlings this month honoring Earth Day.  The seedling giveaway will take place from 11am -2pm on April 22, 2021 at Evelyns Park Conservancy. Only one seedling per household and no need to register, just show up to claim your seedling. Happy planting!

Earth Day: Storytime in the Park

Join the Memorial Park Conservancy Saturday, April 24th  as they celebrate a socially distanced Earth Day with story time at the Even Lawn! There will be two story readings (10:30 am and 11:30 am) followed by face painting from 10 am- 12 pm. Feel free to find your perfect spot with your own picnic blankets and chairs and enjoy Earth Day in a safe environment. Register here to reserve your space!
